The
programs at James Madison High School reflect its belief
that academic excellence must be coupled with a rich program
of extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities
are an important part of a student’s experience in
high school. The diversity of the activities offers
each student opportunities to become actively involved
and participate in the full range of the life of our school. These
clubs, teams and activities are formed whenever there are
enough students interested and a faculty advisor is willing
to assist the students. Junior varsity and varsity
teams are available for both boys and girls. Selection
for a team is based on athletic ability. In addition,
the student must be in good academic standing. For
information on varsity or junior varsity contact the Athletic
Director, Mr. S. Ross in the gym. Membership and
participation in all curricular and extracurricular activities
are not denied based on race, sex, religion, national origin
marital status or any disability. For further information
contact the Coordinator of Student Affairs, Mr. William
Dumont in room 132. |
